I was hoping it was going to be a certain blue car that would fit in CAM-T

Hey Cam,

It's Duane.  I'm just posting my interest here as well, as what I mentioned on Facebook a couple days back.  I am actually waiting on an insurance claim,  as the BMW will likely not be resurrected.

Thanks

Duane

Sigh, I can only dream -- Jo and I just aren't up to a trailer queen.

For those of you that have never driven Cam's car -- take my word for this and just but it now.  There is nothing at all that will give you as much fun as driving that car.  It is perfect in every way -- the only limit to your results is your bravery and skill.  That car will give you whatever you ask of it.

I'm in the same boat.  Racing these vettes and ubermiatas in my truck is fun, but futile.  But going to a trailer and all that comes with is too much for this kid.

In theory you may be able to drive it to the track...in theory.

A cheap and light open trailer with this Miata on top could weight as little as 3500lbs and be towed with just about any SUV or small truck...like a late 90's 4Runner. Even with the cost of a small trailer, there is no way to go faster for less than this car.

I used to drive my Spec Miata to the track. It wasn't a ton of fun, but it was doable. There are also plenty of trailer hitches available for Miatas, so you could tow a little trailer with your tires on it behind you. Failing that, I imagine the car would still be a ton of fun, if uncompetitive, on street tires.

For sale on Racing.ca:

Sorry for the Hijack, but running a CSP Miata without towing it is certainly do-able. I did it for a while. One tire in the trunk, 3 in the passenger seat.
