September 4 Westerner Park Practice Event

Hey guys!

I just wanted to share with you that registration is open for our September 4 practice event at Westerner Park.  I am a little worried about attendance so if you are thinking of going please show your intent early in case a decision has to be made about dropping this event.

Currently it is looking like this will be a lower attendance event due to the conflict with a major US event, so here's a chance to get some extra seat time!  I hope to see many of you out there!

Since I don't have to send the report to Julie ahead of time I moved the registration cutoff to 5am tomorrow so any last minute people can still get in!
We're up to 19 registrations now, it would be great to get a few more!

We had a last minute drop out and one on-site registration bringing us back to 19 registrations for the day.  That gave us 13 runs each with an early finish.  It was a great way to finish burning off the tires!

The top of the pack was crazy close too!  In raw there was just 0.735 seconds between 4th and 8th place, with 4th-6th separated by only 0.080 seconds!

Every event Mary and I do seems to be more fun - you folks are AWESOME!! 

REALLY appreciate the prompt from David G. regarding the RE71 tire pressures.

Sincerest apologies for having to dash off to work before things were wound up today, we will endeavor to ensure it doesn't happen again.

No worries at all about running off!  When we discussed the number of runs I mentioned that a couple people had commitments and might have to take off.  I hope you didn't get in any trouble and that it was worthwhile getting the extra runs!

You guys have been great about coming out a lot and I'm glad you are having fun.  I'm not sure if I will make the YYC event on the 25th but I'll definitely be in Red Deer on the 24th and hope to see you there!
