will be running the 996 Turbo for the season in SS (assuming it's pulled off the exclusion list... if not... well crap... )

The move was recommended to the BoD in the May Fastrack: http://cdn.growassets.net/user_files/scca/downloads/000/014/300/16-fastrack-May.pdf.

It's unlikely that the BoD will reject the move considering all kinds of really wild machinery (most recently the latest Viper ACR) has also been stuffed into SS, so you're probably good to go.

A few mm offset change?  You DO know you are allowed +/- 1/4"?   6.35 mm

7 mm, actually, as of a year or two ago.

I would highly recommend looking at Fatcat

I highly recommend *not* looking at Fat Cat. I'm not going to drag him through the mud on a public forum, but PM me if you want to know more.

wait a few months and buy a prepared (and cheap) S2000 from me :)

It's not inconceivable that I might be interested, depending on the asking price.  ;D

Hey, Merry Christmas, Terry!  Where you been?   ;)

Yes, hopefully this New Year I'll have more time for fun stuff and working on cars ... way behind here ...

And a Merry Christmas to you also Reijo.

Been back in the UK my Dads 90 birthday. My Miata is tucked up for winter, looking forward to next season, will probably only do events at YYC. The drive down from RD is just too far and expensive for 20 minutes of seat time.

I picked up an 2004 M3 (E46) on the Thanksgiving weekend. Now it sits for the winter taunting me. Should be fun.

I picked up the GT-R from Dilawri Collision Centre today and it looks like it did in July '12 when I first got it thanks to Jason and his crew. Paintless dent repair and a hood and a polish...makes me want to rethink changing it out, but as they say, everything is for sale, any takers out there? ha-ha I did see a set of slightly used Blizzaks on Kijiii that would fit...decisions decisions.
Happy New Year everyone! P.

Sorry Paul, I bought Jeff a used Cayman to run in the upcoming season (I'll be using it too!). Theoretically, it should be faster than the Miata:)

If I ever own a Porsche it will definitely be a Cayman, love the body on those. I might bug you guys for a ride-along at YCC one event next season.  Ive been in a couple 911's for ride-alongs but the Cayman has always made me smile every time I look at one.

12-16 weeks estimated ETA. In the meantime I'm getting rid of my 4Runner and plan to keep my Subaru as a second vehicle.

Ordered a 2017 MX-5 today.  Delivery date is uncertain as yet, since there are only 12 currently on the production line in Japan, and it is unknown if we can get one of those.  We hope we can get one by April.

I will start accepting offers for an S2000 :)

I'll start the guessing with Fiat 124 based on that last comment.
