on a side note... Reijo, do I not appear as a member of the SASC in motorsport reg? I seem to appear as a non-member in all the scoring output after each event.

"To qualify for the overall joint championship Best 7/12 events will be taken to determine your overall score."
There were 12 champ events NOT counting the WCMA regionals when this was written (and subsequently we have moved to 13 events this year with the inclusion of the last red deer event on May 28 - so best 7/13), which would imply that the WCMA regionals did not count toward the 12 eligible events. Otherwise, I imagine it would have been written as best 7/14 (and subsequently best 7/15)

The msreg novice checkbox is fairly vague, referring to 'two years'. I am wondering if it is meant to cover 'seasons' or if is specific to when you started within a season.
So, using myself as an example...my first event was August 2016. For 2017, I get labelled as a novice. What about 2018? Do I continue to label myself a novice despite having events completed in 2016? Do I label myself novice only until August 2018? If so, am I eligible for any novice awards in 2018? Or, does the novice label refer to 'two seasons' which would only grant me eligibility for 2016 and 2017?

When I asked around during the morning of the first event, it seemed like it was undecided at that point if the best morning and best afternoon run would be used to create the scores, or if the best two scores of the entire day would be used.
Will the best morning & best afternoon time format be used for all championship events going forward?

Also, for those who felt like today was a good day to hunt cones... apparently Optimum Power Clean destroys the rubber left by the pylons. Not a mark after crushing 8 of those today.
I had the car nano-coated by SR International. Cone rubber just wiped off with the micro-fiber towel when I was drying the car.
Yeah that is usually the case for me as well (I have Opticoat all over the car). Took a little more effort this time around though, must have really had it out for those stupid triangles this go around.

How is the 42.097 for my score calculated? Are cones worth two seconds? My time was 40.097+1.
