Brakes are one of the first things on my list. The braking was a bit weak these last couple events.
The braking issue was most likely your rubber. Get better tires and you might be amazed at how good your brakes are working. I run a ceramic pad for cold performance (first run) and sharper initial bite than the OEM, but there isn't any more maximum braking available compared to the OEM pads. I run OEM brake fluid, and have yet to experience any fade or softness at autox, even with two drivers. My current list to stay in class, likely in order of appearance;
New tires and wheels New brake pads and fluid Alignment Cat back exhaust (resonator delete) Front sway bar
I would argue that your best path would be this order: Tires + alignment (this will be your biggest gain) Brake pads Sway bar Adjustable shocks (to help with some of the handling issues usually caused by the sway bar) Wheels (mostly for diameter change if it is helpful for your car) (don't forget about the rules WRT wheel size and offset) Exhaust Be careful with the exhaust change; you may end up with a car that is mostly undriveable on the street. Or one that exceeds the sound limits. And it will probably give you the least improvement of the entire suite of changes.

Eventually I'll be building her for BSP, where I can have the aero, pully's, headers.....
BSP does not allow wings, just spoilers without endplates. To get a wing, you need to move up to SM.

The performance gain would be negligible for autox, So I would just run it closed for events which should definitely be legal and enjoy it open the rest of the time. I thought S2000 guys used to just disconnect their catbacks all together.
To meet rules, you need at least a straight pipe to guide the bypassed exhaust to one of the original openings. And you will certainly need a muffler on this straight pipe to meet sound. BTW, it is illegal (and extremely unsafe) in any class to have exhaust released underneath the car. You wouldn't pass tech if you tried that.

I looked, and the files I sent Jim showed you with PAX scores of 97.761 on the 27th, and 96.055 on the 28th. Here are the text scores as well as the csv files sent to Jim: http://members.shaw.ca/murray.autocross/2016/wcma/I'll send this link to Jim as well. Edit: I did find a csv file with erroneous numbers in my folder, so the scoring error is probably mine. Sorry about that.

We also need to tell a flagged driver that he should not just leave the course and go cross-country to the finish. One may drive straight past all the slalom cones, but that is the limit.

There were other problems that need to be addressed.
Run groups were quite unevenly sized. I have seen this before with a lot of rookies -- they forget their class, or think it is different from what they registered, or even decide to jump groups to run with their buddies. In any case, I believe we need to divide up the groups "kindergarten style" at the driver's meeting. Which means the meeting will need to start a few minutes earlier. This will also handle those that have special needs with respect to which run group they are in.
If we aren't going to assign run groups ahead of time, then we could make it much easier for registration by just forcing people to pay ahead of time on Motorsportreg. That way, the registration desk would be only for people to sign the waiver, get a course map, and check their info on a big registration sheet and initial it. The computer check in would only be required for those that have made changes to their registered info (i.e. doesn't match what is on the printed sheet). This should help registration move much faster.
When I was running timing, I people were coming up to timing to ask questions (some of them pretty bizarre). At a smaller event, it wouldn't have fazed me, but timing was hectic that day. We need to have several people that are the "go to" people for questions or problems during the day, and have them introduced during the driver's meeting.

It is not my job (or area of expertise) to class other people's cars. I hope he gets help to class his car correctly for the next event.

When you said M3 in you're class I took a quick look and there appears to be many classing errors. I believe that's one of them...
Hey, if it makes him feel good

While flattering Terry, this might be the first event all year that my name is at the top of any list. I can only imagine the fan mail that Corvette guy gets
Nah, he is too narked about M3's beating him

What is with these M3's? I got beat by 2 of them, one is even in the same class as me? Obviously we need to disqualifyu them

I made it home with no problems. Looks like my misfire check engine light problems was me sucking in oil into the intake on the hard corner into the slalom, it kinda sucked not being able to do the slalom with power but it did force me to slow down lol.
That's why I have a catch can in my S2000 -- it fixed up the problem completely. Sadly, it appears to have filled up this weekend, because I am getting misfires on the way home. Guess I have to start emptying it after every event.

Only way you were off course is if you didn't knock over the left-most cone on the pin turn.
