I sent an email off to Nexen to ask a few questions, I guess not cooling them down proper, 2 drivers and short cool down times, and pushing to the limit for what we drive I'm sure is the culprits but hey its not exactly F1 prepped track we drive on lol
I am curious to the G's and if they will stand up a little better.
For the money I put into this sport and the laughs, fun, smiles and watching greg on my heels I dont mind the price!!
Wow. This was on the burgundy coloured hatchback? Three autox events in? Doesn't seem acceptable to me.
Well 4 events, always dual drivers, plus 5000 km of daily driving too as I couldn't get my other wheels for a few weeks and I drive a lot and my driving is pretty much foot near floor most places and dont slow for corners if dont need too lol

I don't think you cut them on anything - my R-S3s and Rivals both started ripping off the same way when they reached the end of their life. I think that's usually caused when you massively overcook a corner and go skidding sideways on them (as I often do) trying to drag the car back to the line you want.
Well that sure sounds like me!!!! Too fast and trying to drag it back in. Thanks!

Well after this weekend event in red deer time to retire the fronts. lol
I am not looking for sympathy as every mile that has been put on these and been smiles and giggles and I'm sure many miles of over driving them lol.
Maybe I cut them on a bad bump in RD? I was able to peel them back.. I think pressures are right but who knows.

Yes - these dates will make 2-day events possible for June, July, and September dates. We will be releasing details in a few days as we just received notice from the town of Fort Macleod on Friday.
Many thanks to Reijo and Wayne for all your help getting this done for our Lethbridge Club.
We are also hosting the event at Street Machine Weekend on July 9th in Lethbridge.
This is great news!! Do we know costs? Do we need to buy a membership?

Co-driver and I will be in Calgary for the WCMA event in a few weeks on these new SURG4's since the RE-71's will not be available in time, I would be happy to share my impressions. Hopefully you Calgary guys like to talk tires over beers after events.
Chris M. from Winnipeg
I'm running the SUR4's as they didn't have the G's yet. Interested to see the changes forsure.

Would be neat to see what the db's of me screaming for my life when Holly chooses to no use brakes.... BAHAHAHA
On a serious note... First time running the Sound station and now that I have done it I understand now why they ask for the numbers to be the correct size and location. Nothing harder then trying to look for a number that is not there or so small you cant read it. I like the ones where one side of the car is one number and other side is another. If we regulate the Db's and everything else why dont we call people out for the number issue? Just my .02 and I am sure its been brought up before. (Its hard to write down White car 93.2 db's lol)

I personally want to say thank you to all who put on this as well other events!! Thanks to all the volunteers, the drivers who let others jump in for a ride ( Thanks to Jess for now causing me to have to buy tires sooner now that my girlfriend Holly decided to join the cone chasing world today at her first ever event after a ride along with her yesterday!!!! )
It's such a great group of people who make it a fun day. We may not be the fastest but we gaurntee we were the highest on the giggle meter today. MORE POWWWWEEEERRR!!!! Poor focus lol

Morning, Was just looking at the date for this months meeting, noticed you have it as the May meeting as the 10th but today is the first Tuesday and only the 9th.
Is the meeting tonight? or tomorrow?
Thanks

For the Westerner Park events we handle registrations through motorsportreg just like the SASC but you'll have to search for CSCC instead
I've had a few things come up in my life recently that have been tying up my evenings and weekends but I'm hoping to get the event pages put together for the entire season near the end of this week.
I'm not completely sure I understand the second half of your question but basically fill out the registration form on MSR and bring proof of membership (card or letter) to the event so the person running registration can verify your membership status.
Thanks for the clarification, I just thought you used Karelo for registration of events sorry my mistake.

For red deer events do we have to register with their reg system (can't recall the name of it) vice versa does a person who hold a cscc card how do they register for the yyc or fm events? May be a silly question but just want to ensure I get registered
