Scoring file attached, if there's any discrepancies, please post here.
Thanks for everyone's help today. Great job designing your first course, Gabe!

I’ll take Sept 29 unless someone else really wants it

The one I found is a non-collapsible handle (large?) Taylor Made golf umbrella. I didn’t end up collecting any other umbrellas, but if someone else did, please chime in.

Also, I have a black umbrella and a black aluminum water bottle that was left in the bed of our truck. Let me know if it’s yours.

I hope everyone had a fun day, and thank you for your hard work! From maintaining the overlap by running for cones, to the fastest change overs we’ve had all year, it all added up to a very efficient event!

That was only the first event when we didn’t have a remote door opener available to us.

Since we had someone ask for clarification, yes, spectators are welcome at the Airdrie events. We will have someone working at the main gate from 8am-9am, and continuous from 10am-5:30ish. As long as they sign the waiver (and parental waivers for minors), they are welcome to drive onto the runway and park in the paddock area to spectate or participate in ride alongs. They can also leave as they wish. Please remind them to respect the speed limit on site, and to drive respectfully around and near the venue. Thanks

Also, we’re short one radio. Please check if you inadvertently brought it home with you, and let us know if you have it. Thanks!
Hooray (insert sarcasm here) -- the treasure hunt for radios at the end of every event is a royal pain in the tuckus. I don't even have good suggestions about how to improve this...
Agreed, searching for radios at the end of an event can be the worst part of cleaning up. Without going too far off topic, I've thought a little bit about numbering the radios and assigning/tracking them per work assignment, maybe with corner captains etc. It would at least help narrow the search. The real challenge would be to make sure we don't bog down the flow of our local events with extra processes and the work associated with that. Maybe we can brainstorm about it more at the next monthly meeting. The few photos and videos friends and I took at CAC are here: https://201907cdnnatsatfm.shutterfly.com/
Thanks for taking some photos Reijo, especially of the festivities outside of the competition.

It was surprisingly low attendance given that 88 showed up to Fort Macleod for 2015. This year’s CAC probably should have counted as an event towards the SASC season championship to help bring out more of our club as well.
Also, we’re short one radio. Please check if you inadvertently brought it home with you, and let us know if you have it. Thanks!

This thread is for all Canadian Nationals results, questions, discussions, etc.
Day 1 Summary (by Sera B.):
The day started mild, with clear blue skies and no wind...beautiful autocrossing weather in the Southern Alberta foothills.
The modified classes set out first, completing their three runs on the Day 1 course whipped up by Tom G. It seemed this tricky course rewarded the driver who could stay clean and focus on looking well ahead.
Street classes were up next, to round out the morning's heats. The wind began to pick up, and marshals persevered gusts up to 70km/hr! Finally, during third runs, the wind took it upon itself to alter the course, making driving and marshalling difficult to say the least.
We managed to finish the heat, break for lunch while the course designers set to making changes for the afternoon session, but the wind was too fierce. During afternoon course walks, it was clear that the course was not going to stand up against the gusts. Stewards were forced to make the call to end the day early.
Looking forward to Day 2 runs tomorrow! See everyone bright and early!
Results for Day 1 attached.
