I bought mine from Summit Racing -- couldn't find anything locally.

Interesting that STR all ran the new Rival 1.5, while street classes all went with the RE-71R.

I snuck in and fixed that.  Besides adding the group and making it selectable, we must also map the class to a group.  Done now.

I know it is early in the season, but it looks like the MX-5 isn't the overdog in CS that I feared.

I hope nobody chooses that option -- on site check-in for 100 people is bad enough already.

Events aren't open yet in Motorsportreg.com yet, so you aren't too late :)

When registration opens, there will be an announcement on this forum.

Could someone please bring some boxes or egg crates to the event on Sunday?  I don't have any, but I am sure that we will have timing issues without something to keep the sensors out of the flying snow and ice.

Are you thinking about the Ice Dice series run by CSCC?  If so, here are the rules for this year's events, including classes and tires: https://cscc.speedracer.ca/forums/rallyx-news/2017-cscc-ice-dice-series/

Edmonton Rally club also runs rallycross events.  This is a quick summary of their classing rules: http://www.edmontonrallyclub.ca/new/?page_id=14

They limited the registration to 200 drivers (no idea why), and filled it completely.

Super fast course, with lots of 3rd gear.  There wasn't much time difference between BS, CS, STS
(http://sololive.scca.com/SATURDAY/index.php), although the NC that won CS was a good bit faster than everyone else.  Gearing?

We have our permit for Fort Macleod. Just have to get insurance.

Hooray!  Thanks for your hard work Reijo.

Thinking about a DIY plastidip bra.  Cheaper by far, and removable if I hate the result.

Apparently the paint on our new car is quite brittle -- multiple rock chips showing white dots on the hood already :(

Which is even less encouraging to race it at all.   :-\
Maybe just keep it as a street car.

Don't be discouraged by a car like this.  It does keep you from winning the $5 plastic trophy ( :) ), but it's common (and fun) to find someone that is a close competitor in PAX or RAW, and compare/fight against that person all season.
