RT660 or RE-71RS for 2 driver car
« on: June 11, 2024, 05:42:05 PM »
So it is time for new talon tires.

I had great luck with the RT660 but was wondering if the RE-71RS's overheat easy, wear fast or cycle out faster since the car gets so many runs now.

Opinions welcome.

The RT660 will last about twice as long as the RE-71RS. They are a slight bit slower, but not much. If treadwear is the number one concern RS-4 will last a bit longer the RT660s but are noticeably slower.

Agreed with Tom. On my camber limited car, I only got about 60 runs out of the front pair of RE71RS's. 660's lasted longer and the original RE71R (non S) lasted even longer than those.
