Help is needed on Sunday morning 7.00 - 7.15 to set up the course. As this is a much larger lot than FM many hands will be required if we are to get started on time.

Oh, yes, thanks, Terry!

Course maps are done, waivers copied, tech forms etc.

I hope to get all the ducks in a row today (insurance, payment, last look at the lot), supplies, etc. so we are ready to run Sunday. Most of the vehicles had been moved Saturday but there was maybe a dozen left over so I want to make sure they are gone.

So if someone is available early to pick up cones (just west of the lot just off of Harvest Hills Blvd/Airport Trail (e.g. just go west for a couple of miles on Airport Trail and just past Harvest Hills NW Blvd and turn left immediately) from the storage ..... if I do not get there Saturday.

Have been thinking about lining the course ... like a proper national-level course ... had a question from the executive group also .... so, yeah, I'd like to .... more work .... more help needed but it would be a good thing.

I think this weekend will really require everyone helping out. The work load is too huge for it to land on just a few.

Ah yes, almost forgot, registration WILL close prompt at 9.00am. Please remember your:
(a) Tech form
(b) Registration
(c) Cash if not already paid
(d) WCMA affiliated club card
(c) Driving Licence

Can I also encourage all participants to get into the habit of arriving at the lot and going straight to registration before starting work on their cars, that way we eliminate the line ups, (wasted time) and it makes it much smoother for the girls doing registration.

I suggest we celebrate after the event with a few beers at a near by pub so we can dissect the whole thing.

7am is definitely early haha but count me in, I wont be running so I can float around where Im needed.

Great! Thanks everyone!

I managed to pick up more cones from ATS today and have spread them out over the lot so once people arrive and they have maps, they can start arranging cones all over while one or two go pick up some more cones etc. from the storage (about 5-10 min. away) ... particularly the green pointer/laydowns.

Only the porta-potties have to arrive .... supposed to be tomorrow and tomorrow I will have keys and everything is in place for a fun day on Sunday!

There are a few remaining items ... like picking up some flour (or lime) for lining the course ... little things. The big things are in place.

I'm glad to see lots of people stepping up to help course setup. I believe Reijo is doing a remake of the Packwood course and believe me it was a lot of setup required when I was helping him last time!

Yes, thanks again, Matt! It would have been a disaster in Packwood if you had not helped out!

However there were a number of factors that made it difficult down there ... lots of bumps, jumps and catch basins jump to mind that had to be considered ... which meant longer set-up time. This lot is better that way but we can use extra help for sure.

Its great to see folks stepping up and offering to help set up the course, however we still need more help and are looking for at least another 4 people.
