Oct. 20/21/28 dates ...
« on: October 16, 2018, 04:17:57 PM »
I posted Sat/Sun Oct. 20/21 and Oct. 28 on MSReg.

The only questionable one right now for me is Saturday, October 20. If we do not have enough people, would the entrants be willing to kick in extra bucks so we do not lose money and that we can have the event (if there are not too many people, the pay-off is getting more runs than normal obviously! :) )? ...

You can enter them here: http://www.motorsportreg.com/orgs/southern-alberta-solosport-club

My son and myself would be happy to shell out a few extra dollars for some extra runs!

At which point does it become unfeasible even if we chip in extra? Specifically asking about this Saturday.

Good question, Marco.

The expenses are almost $2k per day (rounded out) and if we have 20 people then that would be $100 each (actually slightly less since the actual cost is under $2k but this is rough enough for discussion purposes).

30 people would be $66.67 each.

Some people would likely be comfortable with $100 but perhaps not everyone?

What do the Saturday people say?   (maybe this is another poll?).

If you get twice as many runs then I would be willing to go to $80 (40x2)

I can do Sunday. Can you fix the registration link?
My racecar has been transformed in to winter mode with stock suspension and factory brake pads... it looks like a 4x4. Should be a fun time snow or no snow!

Which Sunday, Colin?  Oct. 21  or 28?

Also, I added an option for Saturday night on Oct. 21 in the Facebook poll.  Vote only if you are intending on attending.

I'm just working on a Saturday afternoon option ... maybe 1-5 pm or something like that ... warmer and there is still light.   :)

Thanks for fixing the link Reijo! I'm registered for this coming Sunday (Oct 21). Thanks Tom for sending me a message for the heads up!

Same question as last week -- if anyone's interested in a codriver/coach/data comparison (I'll bring my SoloStorm along) on Sunday, let me know!

Can someone pickup the timing gear and radios between 5-6pm today (in the SW)?
