Me ... right here.

3:30 pm at the Publc Storage on Saturday ... We will pick up cones and other equipment and bring to the site.   The Public Storage is located about 4.5 km. directly west on Airport Trail ... cross Harvest Hills Blvd.  and then next left (south) ... end of the block and it is in front of you,

90 Country Hills Landing, Calgary.

Would love to come out on Sunday, but Miata is out of Racing action. If anyone would like to share I'd be happy to split expenses.

Jo can't make it to Sunday's event, so our Mazda will not be available as a timing vehicle.

Is anyone bringing a truck or non-racing vehicle to the event that we can use for timing?  If not, life is going to be "interesting" for timing -- probably my S2000 for one heat, and some other car when the S2K is racing.

Maybe my truck ...

Needs a 12 volt accessory outlet, and I believe your truck is missing such a beast.

However I always carry a 12V battery pack with me that has a power outlet.  Have to fix the original one ... again ... :)

I actually have a spare group 35 battery that I could add an outlet and/or 120v inverter to. Just pm me if you'd like me to bring it

The timing computer can run for several hours on its own battery power, but the router for live scoring needs a bit more juice.  Total draw for both is small -- about the same as a single interior light bulb.

The biggest issue is sunlight -- it's hard as hell to run timing in full sunlight, and being inside a car makes it possible to read the screen.  Also, it's hard to hear radio calls if you are outside where cars are launching.

I have a few of those battery packs ... can bring a couple along ... also a much newer and smaller one ... maybe 4"x6"x1.5" ... kind of an interesting battery ... good enough for a few boosts of a car even in a small pkg ...
