Scores for July 2, 2017 event at YYC
« on: July 02, 2017, 06:10:07 PM »
The board executive decided that the scoring should stay the same as previous events, and as expected by many since we didn't announce otherwise at the driver's meeting.  Thus, the event is scored as the sum of your best morning run plus best afternoon run.

Have to ask, just because a few of us were told it was going to be single best run of the day......can you post a single run best result too?

Fun course.  Good fun learning a new car.  Great fun as always - thanks to everyone and to Ambrose in particular!

Was a great day, great track.  James taking a further 2.1 seconds off the corolla's best time means I have to go looking at the loose nut behind the wheel a little bit more closely!

I caught you in the end Jeff - shouldn't have encouraged me!

EDIT:  I was also under the impression that it was best run of the day.
EDIT 2:  Thanks for the fun course Ambrose.  Worst time for me this season but Tom was on fire (maybe the slicks finally got warm enough).  Ran smoothly and professionally as always SASC

I heard comments both for an against scoring it as a single best. Vs. morning + afternoon and decided on morning + afternoon because that's how the event was planned from the beginning and that's also usually how we score our events.

Yah car was feeling very good today I think we've sorted out the quirks *knock on wood*.

Does anyone want to trade a slower car for a perpetually broken Honda  :P

Thanks to all the organizers and volunteers.

Thanks everyone, it was a fun day out there. I really enjoyed the course Ambrose!

You know, we could always just score the morning runs... ;)

I'm glad that everyone enjoyed the course! Big thanks to the committee on running the event smoothly with 7 runs each!

Looking at the results, I think I have made the course for Cam and Richard!  ::)
