Can I ask who is handling membership for this season? I purchased a family membership and just need to request cards from wife and son.

Thanks,
Ryan

Automotive Marketplace / Re: FS: CSP Miata

A cheap and light open trailer with this Miata on top could weight as little as 3500lbs and be towed with just about any SUV or small truck...like a late 90's 4Runner. Even with the cost of a small trailer, there is no way to go faster for less than this car.

265/35R18 have 6/32nd tread remaining
275/35R18 have 4/32nd tread remaining

Thread depth starts at just 8/32 (they can be run down to basically no tread for autocross) so these are still very usable and very fast. If unfamiliar with these tires they were released Spring 2015 and are just about the best autocross/track day tire out there...even good in the rain. Also totally streetable as many in the club know.

Buying new would be nearly $1500USD shipped just for the tires from TireRack.

Just $700

These wheels are literally brand new without a mark on them. I still have the boxes as well. They were on my Cayman for two autocrosses this September.

18x8.5 +50 front
18x10 +60 rear

Fitment for Porsche 996. Useable on older 993, 964, even 944, or Cayman/Boxster with spacers on rear. I was using them with a Cayman and had +23mm spacers with longer wheels bolts in the rear.

These are the exact wheels in TireRack.com:

$1,600.00

I currently have tires mounted on them but will dismount if unwanted. Tires are Bridgestone RE71R.
- 265/35R18 and 6/32nd tread remaining front
- 275/35R18 and 4/32nd tread remaining rear

Thread depth starts at just 8/32 (they can be down to basically no tread for autocross) so these are still very usable and very fast. If unfamiliar with these tires they were just released this spring and are just about the best autocross/track day tire out there...even good in the rain. Also totally streetable.

I'll leave these tires on the wheels for just $600 more ($2200 total) more. Buying new would be nearly $1500USD shipped just for the tires.

Technical Talk / Re: SEB/SCCA 2016 rules changes ...

A Corvette hadn't won SS/SSR for like 5 or 6 years (more?) until this year but they were and are still, far and away the most popular car in then SS and now SSR class. I suggest it's possible that people just find them great cars to race and that Murray could be right...but just not for the reasons that he thinks :)

Technical Talk / Re: October Fastrack!

Take a look at A Street.   1st CR is in 10th place ... all Corvettes in front.

No idea how this is relevant to AP2s 'having a chance' in BStreet.

And, interestingly enough in B Street, Alex Mursan (SoCal) beat the winning S2000 in his Corvette on the so-called "tight" west course

come again? Muresan was driving an S2000

the AP2 still has a chance -- provided the course designers don't do more ridiculous courses like this year's east course.
Actually I heard the Corvettes beat up the S2k's worse on the west course ... never mind the east!
I just keep reminding myself I bought the S2000 because it is enjoyable to drive, not because its a winning car...
Did anyone actually look at the results of BStreet this year?

:P

Not my finest driving but it's hard to be upset with the result. I think there's only one dude above me without a jacket.
